AGENCY: TEAM

THE ASK:

Drive families in-store by sending them on an adventure through Bikini Bottom. Partnering with Paramount for         "The SpongeBob Movie: Search For SquarePants," Burger King wanted to promote their exclusive SpongeBob menu with an immersive experience. During Art Basel weekend, TEAM transformed a Miami Burger King into Bikini Bottom.

BACKGROUND:

Burger King invited TEAM to compete in the pitch for this assignment. Three weeks later, we won, and were awarded the business. From the RFP kickoff to the event, the entire project had an aggressive, four-month timeline.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • 3 Challenges Within The Indoor Experience

  • 4-Page Script

  • 5 Areas with their own distinct feeling

  • 10 Performers/Brand Ambassadors

  • 50+ Creative Mechanicals

  • 40’x40’ Themed Outdoor Dining Area

  • One Interactive Art Mural Engagement

  • One Landing Page

RESULTS:

Over 2,000 people attended (our original projections being around 1,500). Not only did we exceed expectations, but we had to turn away people at the end of the night because the lines were too long. The client was thrilled with the outcome, and most important, attendees really enjoyed their adventure through Bikini Bottom.
